Design origin：
Ruditianwen, also known as "Milk Spots Pattern," is a decorative motif found on ancient artifacts. It originated during the Shang Dynasty on bronze vessels used for female ancestor worship, embodying reverence and nostalgia for mothers and reflecting on the origin of life. Later, it became a popular decorative pattern on bronze and jade artifacts during the Spring and Autumn Period, Warring States Period, and the Qin and Han Dynasties.
One particular type of ceremonial object is the jade bi, symbolizing "heaven." Shaped like a circular or disc-like plate with a central hole, the jade bi often features the Ruditianwen pattern, representing stars in the sky. Jade bi primarily served as a ceremonial item, worn as personal adornment, and exchanged as a gift in various rituals and ceremonies.
